Devonport Market June 2014

On Sunday 1 June 2014, we attended our first craft market at Devenport. Had a great day. Fun atmosphere and so many beautiful handcrafted items for sale. We feel privileged to be represented there.

This market we featured our range of beanies with matching scarves in boucle or boucle/Gossamer mix and our top selling 1-ply Gossamer scarves in all our colour range. Our first sale was to a dear lady who bought a black beanie and matching black scarf to wear in Dunedin where she will watch the All Blacks play 🙂

We introduced our newest creations our ‘Scarves without Borders’. They were displayed on the wall and on our mannequin behind our stall table.

Lots of interest was shown by everyone who called past our table. The cuddly softness and sheer luxury of our Kid Mohair yarns impressed. Our yarns are spun from the first shearing of baby angora goats. Because it is the softest and purest. Adult angora yarns sometimes have long harsh hairs which can cause skin irritation.

We even have a sale for next market, from a customer who ordered an extra long scarf in natural creamy/white, with a pretty pink trim, we will have it ready and waiting for your return.

We will definitely be back at the Devenport market on 6th July, with an exciting discount for all our blog and newsletter subscribers, keep your eyes peeled.
